Brew your own beer at BA Brewmaster.

Since 1993 Brewmaster has been helping satisfy the thirst of Kamloops customers.

As a “brew on premise” BA will supply the ingredients the equipment and any advice that you’ll need to make your own beer, wine, coolers or cider.

Once your product is ready you get to take it home for your own personal use…but you can’t sell it.

Homemade wine and homemade beer is becoming more popular than ever.

It costs a lot less to make than buying commercially and you get to experiment with your own concoctions, which actually sounds like a lot of fun...and it tastes a lot better too.

At BA’s first store on Cariboo Place in Aberdeen you can brew wine, beer, coolers and cider.

The second location in Valleyview is called BA Winexpert and they only brew wine.

You can stop by anytime during operating hours to start your brew.

When you’re ready to bottle you’ll need to make an appointment, which maybe two to eight weeks later depending on the type of brew you’re making.

A Few Fun Facts About Beer

In the old days back in England pub regulars had a whistle baked into the rim of their beer mugs. That’s how they ordered service and that’s where we get “wet your whistle”.

You order beer (ale) in England by the pint or the quart. Bartenders would yell at unruly customers to settle down and mind their own pints and quarts. From there we get “mind your P’s and Q’s.”

Before there were thermometers brewmasters checked temperature with their thumb to see when it was right for adding the yeast and that’s where we get “rule of thumb.”
